10 June 2014

- The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) is opening a new Business Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on 10th June 2014. Dr Antony Stokes, H.M. Ambassador to Vietnam and Mr Nick Holder, BBGV Chair, will mark the grand opening.

The Business Centre is established based on a partnership agreement between UK Trade and Investment and the BBGV; with the aim to promote trade and investment between UK and Vietnam. As a linkage between the British and Vietnamese business, the Business Centre will assist companies through a wide range of business-oriented services, including market research and organisation of business-matchmaking and trade events.

This new Business Centre will serve as a contact point for British Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to connect with businesses in Vietnam by providing research and advice on setting up in-market operations, identifying potential business partners and training in local business environment. It will also support business-to-business matching and provide business information for Vietnamese companies keen on exporting or establishing their businesses in the UK.
