Mid-Yorkshire Export Hub awards first Foundation Certificate in Exporting
Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s international support arm MY Export Hub, has awarded its first Foundation Certificate in Exporting, in its second year of service.
The Chamber covers Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield with MY Export Hub situated in its Huddersfield and Wakefield Westgate offices. MY Export Hub offers Chamber exporting members 50% discount off documentation services as well as advice and assistance, including a range of British Chambers Accredited exporting courses.
The Chamber marketing team visited Dewsbury exporter Minova Ltd to present the first Foundation Certificate in Exporting gained through their British Accredited Export courses.
Minova Ltd is a manufacturer of cloth for men’s tailored suits, exporting cut lengths around the world. The marketing team interviewed Rachel Hakier, Minova Ltd Logistics Administrator of three years.
Rachel told the team “the Chamber and MY Export Hub are very important to Minova, MY Export Hub especially supports us in quick and efficient processing of export documentation.”
“We particularly use MY Export Hub for processing ATR’S, Certificate of Origins and EUR1’s through e-z Cert.”
In particular, Rachel uses the e-z Cert system ‘it allows us to create express certificates which assists our customers, as their orders can be sent within the same day.”
MY Export Hub holds British Chambers Accredited courses in exporting; “I have been able to attend the courses in exporting at the Chamber, it’s vastly improved my knowledge supporting me in my work at Minova” Rachel has recently been awarded her Foundation Award in Exporting through the courses.
The Chamber has now opened up their Wakefield office for exporters “The opening of the Wakefield office has really helped us as it is much easier to reach when we’re in need of documentation, then Huddersfield” Rachel advised.
